Bringing Mobs In

Right-click a villager or animal with the Card Board to bring it onto your table. That works on villagers, sheep, cows, chickens, pigs, and wolves.

Sending Cards Home

Drop cards on a Bundle to send them to your real inventory. Most resources and gear turn into the real item. Villagers arrive as real villagers with their trades. Enchanted Books, potions, and maps become the real thing, and talismans turn into charms that work in your off hand.

Real items come back onto your table through a barrel.

Maps and Structures

A Villager with a Compass can draw a map to a structure. Send it home with a Bundle for a real explorer map, then find the structure to open its gateway on your table. See Gateways & Bosses.

Some side quests count what you do out in the world: catching fish, mining ores, defeating mobs, and finding villages. See Quests.
